Richard B. Richter, of Mequon entered into Eternal Life on Tuesday, February 22, 2011, at the age of 81 years. Beloved husband of 51 years to the late Shirley A. (nee Belau). Loving father of Richard J. (Mary), Paul D. (Liz), Jean M., Patrick W.(Stacy) and Brandt C. Richter. Proud grandfather of seven grandchildren. Dear brother of Gerald (Lori), Ruth (Matt), William (Mary), and Joanne (Robert) Yerkes.
Preceded in death by his brothers, Robert and Lyle Richter, and his sister, Marie Fait. Further survived by other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation on Friday, February 25, 2011, from 4-7 p.m., at the FUNERAL HOME. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, at 1 p.m. at Lumen Christi Catholic Church, 2700 W. Mequon Road. Corner of Rangeline Road, in Mequon. (Please meet at the church). Private interment Holy Cross Cemetery. If desired, memorials to the Ozaukee Humane Society appreciated.
Dick was the greatest husband, father, grandfather, and friend; who set the standard for kindness, compassion, and hard work and who always had a sense of humor.
He will forever be missed and loved.
