Bert Kaskie, the ten year old son of Mr. and Mrs. John Kaskie, died at the home of his parents south of Rock Valley Tuesday, as a result of injuries received on the ice last winter. Bert fell on the ice while skating last winter and injured his shoulder. From the injury resulted a malignant tumor, a most deadly malady. Funeral services were held at St. Mary's church Wednesday morning. The Mass was celebrated by the Rev. Father O'Rielly. Interment was made in the St. Mary's cemetery.
