John J. Post, 65, died at 11:45 p.m. Oct. 11, 2003, at his residence.

He was born March 7, 1938, in St. Peter, to Aloys and Regina Muhlenkamp Post. On July 2, 1960, he married Wilma Kramer who died Aug. 27, 1990.

Surviving are two sons: Andy (Kris), Coldwater, Joseph (Trish), Celina; three daughters: Cecilia (Mike) Brunswick, Washington, Cathy (Bret) Bertke, Montezuma, Lucy (Doug) Strickler, Coldwater; a sister, Rosemary (Wilbert) Hartings, St. Rose; mother-in-law, Lula Kramer, St. Henry; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Deceased are two sons, Virgil and Gerald.

Retired from Homan Equipment, he was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus Council 1991, Coldwater, Eagles Aerie 3025, Coldwater, the VFW in Fort Recovery, and Ohio Progressive Sportsmen, Fort Recovery.

Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Thomas Dorn officiating. Burial will be in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.

Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday with an Eagles service at 7 p.m. at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater, and from 9-10 a.m. Wednesday also at Hogenkamp.

Conributions may be directed to State of the Heart Hospice and Home Health.
