Charles G. "Charley" Neidert, 80, Wichita, Kan., died Friday, Dec. 15, 2000, after an extended illness. Visitation will be 3-9 p.m. Wednesday, Dec 20, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m., at Green Hill Funeral Home. The funeral will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 21, 2000, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Loretto, Tenn., with burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Loretto. Officiating at the service will be Father Joseph Mundakal, CMI.
He was a native of Wichita, Kan., and was a former resident of Loretto, Tenn.
He is survived by his sisters, Helen Peters, St. Florian, Ala., Annie
Reeves and Mary Eleanor Weathers of Loretto, Tenn.; brothers, Clarence and Wilfred Neidert of Loretto, Tenn.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nola Dysinger Neidert; parents, John G. Neidert and Kate Augustin Neidert; two brothers, Ed and Bud Neidert; two sisters, Agnes Smith and Bea Stumpe.
He was employed as a superintendent for Caro Construction Co. of Wichita, Kan. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Loretto, Tenn. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
