Services for Mrs. Margaret Salz, 77, of Cedar Falls Western Home, formerly of 63 Stephen Ave., will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, with burial in Calvary Cemetery. A rosary will be 7 p.m. Friday at Oppold Funeral Home, where friends may call after 1 p.m. Friday. She died Wednesday morning at the Western Home.

She was born March 15, 1904, in Waterloo, daughter of Matthew and Mary Geisen Geib. She married Louis J. Salz May 21, 1924, at Waterloo. He died April 23, 1941. She worked at Iowa State Employment Service for 28 years, retiring in 1972.

She is survived by a son, James L. of 506 Hillcrest Road; two daughters, Mrs. Winifred Mulvehill of 411 Auburn St. and Mrs. Delores VanEschen of Vinton; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be given to the church or the Western Home.
