LOUISE ZEWISKE
Mrs. Louise Zewiske, 86, who resided at Davenport, Iowa for the past 10 years died at Mercy hospital, there Feb. 26, after an illness of two months.
The former Louise Elizabeth Trebon, daughter of the late Michael and Marcella Trebon, was born on a farm six miles south of Fairbank, March 31, 1864. She married Joseph Zewiske from Morrison, Ill. April 9 1887. He died 14 years ago.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Rose H. Hoehn, Davenport, two sons, Paul E. and Walter F. Zewiske, Fairbank, six grandchildren, a great grandson, a brother, Michael Trebon of Waterloo.
Funeral services were held at the Immaculate Conception church in Fairbank on Thursday at 9:30 in the morning. Father Bernard Collins officiated followed by burial in the Immaculate Conception cemetery.
