Mrs. Thomas H. Hill, 59, longtime resident of Independence, Tuesday night at her home here of a heart attack; had not been ill; nee Susie Wagner, daughter of William and Amelia Wagner, Nov. 13, 1881, in Black Hawk county, Iowa; came to Independence 35 years ago; married to Thomas H. Hill Jan. 4, 1900; leaves husband and one daughter, Gladys May, at home; member of Methodist church; funeral 2:30 p. m. Friday at Swan & Leytze funeral home; burial in Wilson cemetery, two miles east of Independence; body at funeral home.
