Jane Keegan Wed In Church Rites

St Mary's church was the setting for the wedding Thursday, Dec. 27 when Miss Jane Keegan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Keegan became the bride of Robert L. Richter, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Richter.

Reverend Father Edward Hoffman officiated at the double ring ceremony and Nuptial Mass.

The bride given in marriage by her father wore a gown fashioned of chantilly lace over taffeta with a fitted bodice featuring a standing collar trimmed in sequins. The floor length tulle skirt was topped with a pointed lace overskirt. Her veil fell from a heart shaped cap made of lace and she carried a bouquet.

The bride's mother wore dusty rose lace and the groom's mother chose black lace. Both wore rose corsages.

The three attendants, sisters of the bride, Mary Ellen Keegan of Clarion, as maid of honor; Helen and Doris Keegan, as bridesmaids, wore crystallette dresses in shades of cranberry, rose and pink with matching headpieces and they carried bouquets of shaded mums.

Patricia Heffernan in pink crystallette, was flower girl and Michael Keegan, brother of the bride, was ring bearer.

The groom's brother, Richard Richter, acted as best man with David Jacobsen and Robert Keegan as groomsmen.

Mrs. Martin Cullinan and Mrs. Robert Richter poured the punch. Mrs. Bradley Bauman of Denver, Iowa had charge of the guest book.

For her going away outfit the bride wore a beige knit with black accessories.

After a short wedding trip the couple are making their home at 1424 Main in Rock Valley.
