POMPANO BEACH, Fla

 

Irma M. Denicore, 68, of 2410 N.E. 4th St. in Pompano Beach and formerly of Plattsburgh, died in a Pompano Beach hospital June 27.

She was a member of the Ladies Golf Association of Pompano Beach and for many years belonged to the Bluff Point Golf and Country Club Ladies Association.

She is survived by her husband, Leo S. Denicore; two step-daughters, Marie D. Linck of Fort Lee, N.J. and Elizabeth A. Kelly of Plattsburgh; a sister, Bernice Jamerson of Waterloo, Iowa; and two brothers, Ralph and Neil Beierschmitt, both of Iowa.

A wake service was held June 29 at the R. Jay Kraeer Pompano Beach Funeral Home. A mass of Christian burial was held June 30 at St. Coleman's Catholic Church. Burial was in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Fairbank, Iowa.

Research notes for Irma

Search for 1940 census record - I've tried everything I can think of. The 1935 City Directory has her at 611 Allen St. The 1940 census for that address has Cecil Klein living there. I figure she would likely be in Waterloo or in Chicago at this point. I have not deep dived into Chicago.

FAIRBANK—Services for Irma Marie Denicore, 68, who died Friday at Pompano Beach, Fla., a former Fairbank Resident, will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Immaculate Conception Church in Fairbank; rosary at 8 pm. Tuesday at Funeral Home in Fairbank where friends may call after 7 p.m. Tuesday; burial in church cemetery; survivors include her husband, Leo; two brothers, Ralph Beirschmitt of Fairbank and Neil Beirschmitt of Jesup; a sister, Mrs. Harold Jamerson of Waterloo.
