Dunkerton Girl Becomes Bride of Fairbank Man
Dunkerton, Ia., Oct. 4.
The wedding of Miss Frances Barlow, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Barlow, and Ralph Beierschmitt, son of Mr. and Mrs. John A. Beierschmitt, Fairbank, Ia., was solemnized at high mass at St. Francis church, Barclay township, at 7:30 o'clock Wednesday morning. Rev. Father Naebers officiated at the services.
The bride wore a gown of green satin, with silver hat and accessories. Her flowers were yellow roses in an arm bouquet. She was attended by her sister, Miss Grace Barlow, who wore mauve georget and carried butterfly roses. The best man was Walter Beierschmitt, brother of the bridegroom.
Breakfast was served at the home of the bride's parents, to 20 relatives, with decorations in yellow and white.
The bride is a graduate of Dunkerton high school. Mr. Beierschmltt was graduated from Immaculate Conception academy, Fairbank, and attended Columbia college, Dubuque.
The couple left by motor for a trip to Denver, Colo., after which they will be at home at a farm south of Fairbank.

FAIRBANK
Frances "Billie" Beierschmitt, 79, of Fairbank died Monday afternoon, May 29 at People's Memorial Hospital in Independence.
She was a retired homemaker.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Fairbank. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Friends may call any time today (Wednesday) at the Woods Funeral Home in Fairbank, where there will be a rosary at 3 p.m. and scripture service at 7:30 p. m.
Survivors include four sons, James and Bill of Fairbank, Don of Jesup and Howard of Quinlan, Texas; a daughter, Mary Sue Beierschmitt of Fairbank; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Grace Welch of Oelwein and Ruth Brown of Waterloo.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph, who died in 1980, a son, an infant son and two brothers.
