John Bruck, Jr.

John Bruck, Jr., 70, of rural Owensville, Ind., died Monday, Feb. 24, 1997, at Gibson General Hospital in Princeton, Indiana.

He was born Feb. 15, 1927, in Lost Island Township, Palo Alto County, Iowa. John was a retired welder.

Preceding in death were his parents, John N. and Ella Frances (Thomas) Bruck.

Surviving are three sisters, Ella Mae Beck and Marjorie Cox, both of Graettinger, Iowa, and Frances La Point of Twin Peaks, Calif.

Graveside services were held Wed., Feb. 26, at Calvert Chapel Cemetery, Haubstadt, Indiana.

Research notes for John

Married Ruth Evelyn Clavert on 15 Feb 1966 in Posey, IN. This was Ruth's 2nd and John's 1st marriage. I believe this marriage ended in divorce before Ruth's death in 1989. I also believe they had no children, however I do believe that Ruth had at least one child from previous marriage to PEGRAM (unk first name.) This is based on her headstone inscription "MOTHER"
