Doris M. Robison, 84, of Waterloo, formerly of Vinton and Anamosa, died Sunday, July 15, 2007, at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo following an extended illness. Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel in Vinton, by the Rev. Tom Felts. Interment: Urbana Cemetery, Urbana. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday.

A memorial fund has been established.

Doris was born June 4, 1923, at Vinton, to Stanley and Helen (Wilford) Martinec. Doris owned the Cozy Corner Restaurant in Anamosa and served as assistant manager of Fawn Creek Country Club and the Rainbow Supper Club while living in Anamosa. Doris was a member of the Anamosa First Congregational United Church of Christ. In recent years she was a resident of Ravenwood Care Center in Waterloo, where she enjoyed membership in the Ravenwood Singers.

She is survived by her son, Carl (Kathryn) Clang of Metamora, Ill.; her daughter, Dixie (Richard) Elefsrud of Waterloo; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husbands, Robert Clang and Roger Robison, and her parents, she was preceded in death by one great-grandson, and two brothers, Edward Martinec and Carl Martinec.
