Services for Rose Ellen Norquist, 58, who died Friday at her Rapid City home, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church with the Rev. Ted Zuern officiating. Burial will be in Black Hills National Cemetery.
Rosary is at 7 p.m. Monday at Behrens Mortuary. Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. today and 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
She was born Oct. 18, 1930, in Huron to Bernard and Mary (O'Meara) Reilly. She graduated from Huron High School in 1947 and attended Huron College.
She married Shirley Norquist May 26, 1952, in Huron. They lived in Huron and moved to Rapid City in 1961.
Survivors include four sons, Stephan Norquist, Roger Norquist, Richard Norquist and Larry Norquist, all of Rapid City; five daughters, Debra Norquist, Joan Hoiland and Sharon Norquist, all of Rapid City, Diane Abbott of Tulsa, Okla. and Barbara Taylor of Grand Prairie, Texas; two sisters; two brothers; and 16 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and one brother.
