Funeral services were held Saturday morning in the St. Patrick's church of Sheldon, Iowa for Donald J. Wagner, who died July 26, 1960 in Sheldon.
Solemn Requiem Mass was celebrated by Father R. Hoza, assisted by Fathers L. J. Berger of Sibley, E. Thom of Cherokee and L. Klein of Ashton. Interment was in St. Patrick's cemetery at Sheldon.
Mr. Donald J. Wagner, the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Wagner, was born April 19, 1917 in Sibley, Iowa. He attended school in Ashton, graduating in 1936.
On April 24, 1945 he was united in marriage with Miss Dolorous Richter of Sheldon, Iowa. From this union two children were born. Mr. Wagner resided his entire life in the Sheldon vicinity with the exception of five years when he was, employed by the Sibley Implement Co. in Sibley.
He is a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Surviving him are his wife, Dolorous, his two children Donald Jr. and Mary Louise, his mother, Mrs. Martina Wagner of Ashton, two sisters, Mrs. Doyle Miller of Sheldon and Mrs. Richard Ament of Fremont, Nebr., and two brothers, Walter and John of Sibley. His father preceded him in death in 1937.
