John "Jack" P. Heffernan of Aurora, a carpenter, died Thursday. He was 55.
Services were Tuesday at Olinger Aurora Chase Mortuary. Interment was in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens.
He was born March 1, 1945, in Sioux Falls, S.D.
He is survived by his wife, Anita; a son, Brian, a daughter, Kimberly Anderson; a stepdaughter, Shelly Hegge; a stepson, Robbey Caldon; three sisters, Sally Baker, South Dakota, Jean, Sioux Falls, and Pat Slamkouski, Ogden Dunes, Ind.; and 10 grandchildren.
