Carl C. Adix Jr, 74, of Yorktown, died Saturday, July 1, 2000.

He was born Nov. 13, 1925, in Yorktown, to the late Carl Sr. and Harriett Tribon Adix. He was a farmer, rancher and a member of the Lutheran Church.

Survivors: wife, Ann Hahn Adix; daughters, Carolyn Bargmann and Drenda Hall, both of Yorktown, Ginge Hood of San Antonio. Marilyn McAda of Hallettsville, Nancy Longlet of Nederland; sons, Carl Adix of Nederland, Kenneth Adix Pflugerville; sister, Christabel Jacobs of Fergus Falls, Minn.; and 15 grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6:30 to 8 p.m. today at Lamprecht-Janssen Funeral Home.

Services will be 3 p.m. Monday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, the Revs. Herb Byer and Kay Johnson officiating.

Burial will be at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetry. Lamprecht-Janssen Funeral Home, Edna, (361) 564-2277.
