DENVER

 

Forrest Bennett of Denver died Tuesday at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo. Bennett, a retired welder at John Deere Tractor Works in Waterloo, was a real estate broker after Leaving Deere's. He was 60.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2p.m. at the Cleveland Funeral Home In Denver. After services, the body will be cremated. Friends may call at the funeral home from 9 a.m. Thursday until the time of the funeral services.

Surviving are his wife, Maxine of Denver; a son, Robert Bennett of Oelwein; three daughters, Mrs. Michael (Wanda) Miller and Mrs. Neal (Sandra) Witt, both of Denver, and Mrs. William (DelLea) Tanner of Denver, Colo.; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Howard Bennett of Apache Junction, Ariz., and Ernest Bennett of Columbus, Ohio; and a sister, Mrs. Ruth Dickerson of Ohio.
