William Thal Dies in Hospital

 

William Thal, Burlington artist and sign painter, died Thursday morning in Burlington Memorial Hospital following a lingering illness.

Born in Burlington on Nov. 6, 1900, he spent most of his life here. He operated a painting business here and for many years worked in the advertising departments of Milwauke theater chains.

Surviving his death are one brother, Frank Thal, and one sister, Miss Hilda Heiligenthal, both of Milwaukee.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 9 a m. at St Mar's Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home, 681 Geneva St., this afternoon and evening and until service time Saturday.
