Vernetta R. Rein, 82, a homemaker, died Sunday, April 16, at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne.

Mrs. Reins was born in Lyons, Wis. She came to Brevard County in 1973 from Burlington, Wis.

She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Melbourne.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Ellsworth Rein of West Melbourne; daughter, Jeanne Stelmaszewski of West Allis, Wis.; son, Ronald Rein of Palmyra, Wis. and four grandchildren.

No calling hours are scheduled. A memorial Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Brownlie and Maxwell Funeral Home in Melbourne is in charge of arrangements.
