Darlene Schoepske, 85, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, May 2, at Ravenwood Specialty Care.

She was born March 17, 1932, in Waterloo, daughter of Ithmer and Ina Maricle Chase. On Jan. 11, 1953, she married David Schoepske at Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Darlene graduated from West High School in 1950. She was the owner and operator of Sign Engraving and T-shirt Design, selling the business in 2003. Darlene also started the art department at Rath Packing Co. and was manager there.

Survived by: her husband; two sons, Mike (Connie) Schoepske and Tim (Kay) Schoepske; two daughters, Sandy (Dana) Walker and Debbie (Brad) Andreassen; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: her parents; and a brother, Dale Chase.

Services: 10 a.m. Monday, May 8, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, May 7, at Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service, and also for an hour before services Monday at the church.
