Funeral services are pending at Fawcett Funeral home in Winthrop for Raymond J. Barbian of Winthrop. Mr Barbian died suddenly Sat. Afternoon at his home.

Raymond was born May 9, 1902 at Kenosha, WI. the son of Nicholas and Mary Althoff Barbian. He had lived in Winthrop the past 23 years and was an employee of the Guthrie Produce for many years.

Mr. Barbian is survived by his wife: two daughters, Mrs. Lorraine O'Brien and Phyllis Barbian of Winthrop; three sons, Richard with the armed forces in Germany and Jerry and Russell at home; four brothers, Franks and Harry of Burlington, WI, Jack, Troy Center, WI and Leo, Wheatland WI; two sisters, Mrs. Joe Lenz of Wheatland, WI, Florence Wilson Burlington, WI.

Funeral services will be held at the Fawcett Funeral home pending the arrival of Richard from Germany. The Rev. L.J. Faris will officiate and burial will be in the Winthrop Cemetery.
