Elizabeth Christina Ebbing (1866

Mrs. Elbert was born at New Munster, Wis., June 20, 1866, and lived at the same place till her marriage to Jos. Elbert on February 22, 1886. Shortly after their marriage they came to Sioux county and settled in this community.

Here she resided continuously till her death. For the past year she has been in broken and failing health and although every care was given her through the last months, she grew steadily weaker and at last succumbed to Death's icy fingers. Her husband and three children, a boy aged 12, a girl, 7 and a boy, 2, survive her beside her mother, two sisters and two brothers.

She was a faithful wife, a loving mother, an affectionate daughter and sister and her loss will be keenly felt by her loved ones. She was a kind hearted woman and a devout Christian. All who knew her loved her and will join with the THE BEE in mourning her loss.

Mrs. Joseph Elbert died at the family home northwest of Rock Valley on Wednesday afternoon. The funeral occurs Saturday at ten o'clock from St. Mary's. A more extended notice will be given next week.
