Louise Bridget Schlax, 85, formerly of Kenosha, late of Largo, Fla., died Wednesday (Oct. 7, 1992) at Americana Health Care Center, Arlington Heights, Ill.

She was born March 26, 1907, in Luxemburg.

On June 29, 1979, she married Francis Bernard "Butch" Schlax at St. James Catholic Church, Kenosha. He died Jan. 28, 1979.

She was the owner and principal operator of Sheridan Gift House, an antique dealership, in Kenosha.

Surviving are a son, Robert, Arlington Heights; two grandsons and a great-granddaughter.

The Glueckert Funeral Home, Arlington Heights, is in charge of arrangements.

SCHLAX-Memorial Mass for the late Louise Bridget Schlax of Largo, FL formerly of Kenosha, who passed away October 7th, will be held at Indian Shores Town Hall Catholic Church, Indian Rocks, FL. at 9:00 A.M., Sunday, November 15th. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Clearwater, FL. Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., Arlington Heights, IL is in charge of the arrangements.

Research notes for Louise

POD is a bit of a question...Obit states she died in Arlington Heights, IL -- this makes some sense as her son is living there at the time. Also, the funeral home in charge is located in Arlington Heights. However, there is a Florida Death Record which, as far as I know, is only created when someone dies there, not just buried there.
