Donald F. Brown, 60, of here, died at 1:50 p.m. Friday at his residence following an extended illness.

He was born April 16, 1931 in Dayton, the son of Roy A. and Lenita Zimmerman Brown. He married Rose Kramer on Aug. 19, 1950 and she survives.

Mr. Brown was owner and operator of Don's Barbershop in Wapakoneta for 27 years. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe parish in Montezuma. Mr. Brown was a graduate of Stivers High School in Dayton and was a member of the South Shore Sportsman's club and Moose Lodge 1473 in Celina.

Also surviving are three sons, Larry Brown of Hickman, Ky., Alan Brown of Obion, Tenn. and Carl Brown of St. Marys; three daughters, Mrs. David (Beverly) Fisher of Wapakoneta, Mrs. Roy W (Dianne) Holtzapple of Wapakoneta and Mrs. Douglas (Patricia) Ice of Vandalia; and 16 grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Guadalupe, with Robert Kunisch officiating. Burial will be in the Church cemetery.

Friends may call 4 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Auglaize County Humane Society.
