Brian B. Gettler, 53, passed away Friday, March 11, 2016, at MCHS in Eau Claire.

He was born Feb. 5, 1963, in Chippewa Falls, to Bernard and Diane (LeDuc) Gettler.

He worked as a machinist at PMI in Bloomer. He married Veronica Metcalf on July 1, 2004, in Chippewa Falls. Brian really liked being a machinist and in his free time he enjoyed hunting, golfing, fishing and woodworking.

He is survived by his mother, Diane Gettler of Chippewa Falls; wife, Veronica of Bloomer; son, Jesse (Jessalynn) Gettler of Bloomer; daughters, Erica Jo Gettler from Jump River, Wis., and Brianda Gettler of Bloomer; stepchildren, Cody Klatt of Ridgeland, MacKenzie (Justin) Waterhouse of Menomonie, Alexandra Klatt of Bloomer; brother, Richard (Vicki) Gettler of Eldon, Mo.; sisters, Jennifer (Pete) Summers of Madison, Christina (Joe Helgevold) Gettler of Glenwood City; step grandchildren, Jaycee and Whyatt Klatt; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Bernard.

A time of gathering will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, 2016, at Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer, with a time of remembrance at 7 p.m. Online condolences may be expressed at olsonfuneralhomebloomer.com.
