MORRISON, Ill.
Services for David P. Krippner, 28, of Rockford, formerly of Morrison, will be 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Morrison. A family prayer service will be 9:30 a.m. at Morrison Chapel, Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home. Burial will be in Grove Hill Cemetery, Morrison.
Visitation is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today, with a Christian wake service at 8 p.m.
Mr. Krippner died Sunday at Carle Hospital, Urbana, after a motorcycle accident.
He was a civil engineer at Pyramid Construction Co., Rockford.
He was a 1981 graduate of Morrison High School and a 1989 graduate of University of Wisconsin/Platteville.
He was a licensed scuba diver.
Memorials may be made to Morrison High School football equipment fund.
Survivors include his father and stepmother, Paul and June Krippner, Tariffville, Conn.; sisters, Debra (Mrs. Mark) Knutti, Sterling; Marlene Krippner, Lake Villa; and Catherine Krippner, Branford, Conn.; a brother, Ronald, North Bergen, N.J.; and a stepsister, Jennifer Bucchiere, Tariffville.
His mother died in 1986.
