Richard I. Lokey, 56, passed away at his residence on July 2, 2013. He and his Wife Susan (Williamson) Lokey, observed their 33rd wedding anniversary on February 2nd of this year.

Born December 6, 1956 in Salisbury, He was the son of the late Ralph and Ruth (Schmidt) Gerhardt. He graduated from Mardela High School and received his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Maryland.

Rick was employed by Siemens Corporation in Spring House Pa. for many years.

An outdoors man, he enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, hiking, and working around his home. Born and raised self-reliant, he instilled in his family the same values of strength, resolve, and independence.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughter, Marie A. Lokey of Ambler Pa. and her partner Andrew Thomas; a son, Nathan R. Lokey at home; and three brothers, Mike, Donnie and Dennis. He was preceded in death by his sister, Sharon.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service at 11 AM on Saturday, July 13, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Marion, Md. Located at the corner of Farm Market Rd. and St. Paul's Episcopal Church Rd. Marion. Where family will receive friends from 10-11AM. Interment will be private.
