Marjorie C. May, 77, passed away March 7, 2012 at the Aurora VNA Zilber Hospice Home in Wauwatosa. She was born December 27, 1934 to Leo and Alice (nee: Scoville) Isferding in Burlington. She was a lifetime resident of Burlington and graduated from St. Mary's High School. On November 20, 1954 she was united in marriage to the late Cletus May at St. Mary's Catholic Church. She enjoyed painting and teaching classes at Woodcrafters, gardening, baking and playing cards with her card club. She also enjoyed both feeding and watching the birds in the back yard. She loved to travel, especially with her family. Marjorie greatly treasured her time as a homemaker and taking care of her children and grandchildren. Marjorie is survived by her children, Steven (Shari) May of Columbus OH, Kathy May of Broadhead, Carolyn (David) Wilson of Minocqua, Jim May of Burlington, Linda (Robert) Kendall of Lyons, Tom May of Burlington, Scott (Michelle) May of Delavan and Joan (Keith) Schmidt of Sun Prairie; her grandchildren, Brian, Bill, Emily, Cameron, Matthew, Patrick, Cody, Abbey and Austin. She is further survived by her brother, Russell (Helen) Isferding of Sheboygan; two brothers-in-law, Robert (Carole) May of Lake Geneva and Ralph (Dorothy) May of Burlington. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Cletus; an infant son, Danny; and a sister, Joan Lois. A Memorial Service will be held Monday March 12, 2012 at 1 p.m. at the Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home. Relatives and friends may meet with the family from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. also at the funeral home. Inurnment will take place at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Lyons. Marjorie's family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the doctors and nurses of both St. Luke's in Milwaukee and the Aurora Zilber Hospice Home in Wauwatosa for their care and compassion.
