Mary Jean Daniels, age 71, passed away Monday, April 21, 2014, at St. Luke's Medical Center, Milwaukee. She was born in St. Louis, MO, September 25, 1942, daughter of the late Wilfred and Jean (Nee: Schulte) Jacobi and had been a resident of Racine the past 67 years. On December 10, 1960, at St. Edward's Catholic Church, she was united in marriage to Richard E. Daniels. Mary was an active member of St. Louis Catholic Church. She also had been active in the Girl Scouts and enjoyed many crafts. Above all, it was time she spent with her family that she treasured the most. She will be dearly missed. Surviving are her husband of 53 years, Richard; 6 children, Beth (Richard) Roeder of Franksville, Janet (Dwayne) Hart of Franksville, Kirt Daniels of East Troy, Jeffery (Stephanie) Daniels of Peoria, IL, Gregory (Judy) Daniels of Oak Creek; grandchildren, Matthew, Theresa, Alix, and Vincent Daniels, Kyle, Jamie, and Phillip Roeder, Emily, Christian, Audrey, Isaiah and Olivia Daniels, Kelly and Tyler Hart, Zachary, Shannon, and Jake Daniels; 2 great grandchildren, Brady and Trevon; siblings, William (Lynn) Jacobi of Phoenix, AZ, Charles (Jean) Jacobi of Brainerd, MN, James (Lynn) Jacobi of Detroit, MI, Sue Jacobi , Katie (John) Ward of Brainerd, MN; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law; nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant son, Mark. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Louis Catholic Church, 13207 Hwy G, Saturday April 26, 2014, 11:30 a.m., with Reverend Mark Danczyk officiating. Interment will follow at St. Louis Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet at the church 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass. Memorials to St. Louis Catholic Church have been suggested.
