ESCONDIDO
Howard Francis Palmer, 61, of 1405 E. Washington Ave. died Feb. 8 at Palomar Memorial Hospital.
He was born Dec. 13, 1915, in National City and was a lifelong resident of California. He had lived in Escondido since 1958, He had been a custodian for the Escondido Union (elementary) School District for eight years and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Escondido.
Surviving are his wife, Marie; four sons, William Palmer of Valley Center and Tom, Ronald and Joseph Palmer, all of Escondido; a daughter, Ellen Murders, also of this city; and one grandchild.
A service will be held at 9 a.m. Feb. 10 at St, Mary's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Oak Hill Memorial Park. The Alhiser-Wilson Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
