Sharon (Sherry) Louise Peterson, 66, of Merrillan, WI, died June 18, 2018 at home surrounded by family. She was born October 28, 1951, daughter of Roger and Mae (Rubenbauer) Alexander in Wisconsin.

Sharon was a loving wife and mother. She loved to farm. She always made sure all her animals were well taken care of. She loved to garden, feed her many birds, and spend time with her family. Family was very important to her and making sure everyone was happy. She loved to go shopping and bake lots of goodies. She worked on the farm with her husband and also cleaned and baked at Club 95.

Sharon is survived by her husband, LaVern Peterson, three children; Brent (Julianne) Peterson, Shane (Jessica) Peterson, and Jackie (Scott) Huber, seven grandchildren; Hannah, Nickolas, Ryan, Nissa, Sierra, Kaitlyn, and Cassidy, a sister, Ruth Jahn, a brother, Gary (Karen) Alexander, many nieces and nephews and dear and wonderful friends.

She is preceded in death by her father and mother; Roger and Mae Alexander, two half-brothers; Donald Wagner and Kenneth Wagner, her three uncles, and grandparents.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 22, 2018 at Grace Lutheran Church (200 W. Main Street, Alma Center, WI) with Reverend Dr. Gary Paul officiating. Burial will follow at East Lawn Cemetery in Alma Center.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Jensen-Modjeski Funeral Home (128 S. Hoffman Street, Hixton WI). There will be NO VISITATION prior to service on Friday at the church.
