AGED MAN DIES AT HOME HERE FRIDAY

John Busch, 84, of this city, passed away at his home on Perkins boulevard late Friday night. He had been a resident of this community for many years, and had lived in Burlington for the past 20 years.
Mr. Busch was born in Munster, Westphalen, Germany, on Dec. 13, 1847. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry J. Busch. At the early age of nine years, he came with his parents to America, where they made their home on a farm south of this city.
Mr. Busch married on May 17, 1870 to Mary Richter, the ceremony being performed at New Munster. Mrs. Busch preceded him in death, passing away 20 years ago, shortly after they had retired from farming and moved to this city to make their home.
The deceased is survived by five sons, Henry and John Busch, Burlington; William and Alfred Busch, New Munster and Edward Busch, Brighton. He is also survived by four daughters, Mrs. Ben Ketterhagen, Mrs. Alfred Sobbe and Mrs. Charles McCourt, Burlington, and Mrs. John Ketterhagen, Thorpe, Wis., and by 46 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday morning at St. Mary's Catholic church in this city. The Rev. Father Kersting, pastor of St. Mary's, will officiate.
