Research notes for John

Different records say he came to America at age 9 OR 10. Because he was born in DEC, I'm guessing he arrived in 1857. He would have been 9. But just glancing at it, you could say he was born in 1847 and arrived in 1857, so, he was 10. This is why my GUESS is 1857.
