Kraus, Eugene "Gene" F. 85 of Monticello, passed away on Feb 12, 2015. He was a loving man with a witty sense of humor and genuine gift of conversation. He will be greatly missed by all. Preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Lavina; siblings Kenneth and Marcella (Mullner), son-in-law Louis Redmann, grandchildren Jordan and Zachary Kraus. Survived by his 7 children Deborah Redmann, Suzanne (Kevin) Kelley, Cindy (Brad) Rosnow, Joyce Michael, Pamela (Michael) Wigen, Richard (Tamara) Kraus and Michael Kraus; 13 grandchildren, 5 great-grand-children; brothers Donald and Gerald; sisters Sr. Madeleva, Muriel Marchiniak. Gene served in the US Marine corps and was a 49-year employee of Flour City Brush Co. Visitation Sunday 4-7 pm at Peterson-Grimsmo Funeral Chapel, 250 East Broadway, Monticello. Funeral service Monday Feb 16, 2015, 10:30 am at St. Henry's Catholic Church, 1001 East 7th Street, Monticello. Luncheon to follow. Private Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at a later date.
