Robert Frank Finke, 61, of La Grange, Ill., a former Burlington resident general counsel for Libby McNeill and Libby Co. of Chicago, died Saturday at his home in La Grange.

Finke was born in Burlington on Oct. 13, 1905. His early life was spent in Burlington and he was graduated from Marquette and Georgetown universities. On Oct. 31, 1931 he was married in Chicago to the former Helen Forge.

He was a member of the Phi Alpa Delta, legal fraternity, the Union League Club of Chicago, and the Chicago, Illinois and Inter-America Bar Associations. For the past 11 years he had been living in La Grange.

Surviving are his wife, Helen, one son, Robert Forge Finke of La Grange, and two brothers, Louis of Burlington and William of Passe Grille Beach, Florida.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, Burlington. Burial will be at St. Charles cemetery, Burlington.
