CHARLES CLETUS "CHUCK" ELLERBROCK, 76, of Lake Wales died Thursday at home. A native of Sac City, Iowa, he moved to Lake Wales two years ago after 25 years as a resident of Okeechobee. He was a retired iron worker in Pittsburgh. He was a fisherman, hunter. Catholic, World War II Navy veteran and member of Veterans of Foreign Wars in Okeechobee and Pearl Harbor Survivors Association. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Louise; four stepsons, Timothy Smith of Fort Lauderdale, Ronald Smith of Pensacola, Thom Smith of St. Simons Island, Ga., and Randal Smith of Santa Fe, N.M.; a brother, Paul of Sac City; two sisters, Lavola Babich of Cleveland and Sister Coralita Maxine of Ann Arbor, Mich.; and six step-grandchildren. Johnson Funeral Home, Lake Wales.
