Dover Pioneer Woman Dies Following a Fall
DOVER, Wis., March 27

 

Miss Susan McCourt, one of the oldest pioneer residents of Dover, passed away at the home of her niece, Mrs. John Morrow, Tuesday evening, March 26, after seven weeks' suffering, the result of fractured limb sustained in a fall on the ice. Miss McCourt was 87 years old on July 11. She came from Canada with her parents when small child and they settled in Dover, where she grew to womanhood. Later she and a sister Katie went to Colorado to reside. They spent nearly 50 years there, returning to Dover three years ago and making their home with Mr. and Mr. John Morrow, who did everything possible to make them comfortable and happy.

There survive one sister, Katie; several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, and great grand nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held at the church at 9 oclock Friday morning, Father Schiefen officiating. Burial will take place In the cemetery at the church.
