Marriage vows were exchanged Saturday at 9 in St. Aloysius church by Miss Irma Adele Scholbrock, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Scholbrock, and Charles Rosauer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Rosauer of Lawler. The Rev. G. V. Steiert officiated.

The bride was attended by Miss Lucy Rosauer, the bridegroom's sister and maid of honor, and the Misses Mary Ellen Scholbrock and Joan Rosauer, the couple's sisters and bridesmaids.

Ronald Scholbrock of Cedar Rapids, brother of the bride, was best man. Groomsmen were Chester

Rosauer, the bridegroom's brother, and Donald Liebold. John Scholbrock and Francis Scott ushered.

Two hundred guests were entertained at a luncheon at the Legion hall in Lawler, followed by a reception.

The couple will make their home in Calmar. Mr. Rosauer is employed by Rath's in Waterloo.

Irma A. Rosauer, age 78 of Lancaster and formerly of Blue River, passed away on Sunday July 16, 2017 at Orchard Manor Nursing Home in Lancaster. She was born on March 23, 1939 in Festina Iowa. She was the second youngest of 8 children and the last surviving child of William and Regina (Kipp) Scholbrock. She helped her Dad at the family owned feed mill. She met the love of her life Charles Rosauer, she married Charles Rosauer on September 27, 1958 in Calmar Iowa. He preceded her in death on December 23, 2011. After they were married they moved to Wisconsin around 1965 where in 1969 they made there home in Blue River. Over the years she had various jobs, but being a wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother was her true passion. She loved to sew, do crafts, cook and dance. Her faith had carried her through tough times Through the years she was an active member of the CB club, and Big River Long Rifle rendezvous Club.

Irma is survived by her children Connie Rosauer (Chis Ferkey) both of Vesper Wi., Deb (Kory) Krogen of Boscobel, Gerry (Julie) Rosauer of Blue River. 9 Grandchildren 4 Great-Grandchildren . A sister in law Dorothy Scholbrock of Festina Ia.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Bernie Rosauer, a daughter in law Terri Rosauer along with 2 Grandsons Chucky and Ryan Rosauer.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday July 20, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Boscobel. Father Faustino Ruiz officiating. Burial in the Boscobel Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday July 20, 2017 from 9:00 Am until the departure to the church at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel.
