Roderick H. MacRae, husband of Mrs. Nellie MacRae, formerly Miss Nellie O'Meara of Davenport, died Thursday morning at their home in Edmonton, Alberta, Can., according to advices received here yesterday by John I. O'Meara, brother of Mrs. MacRae.
Death, resulting from pneumonia, terminated an illness or two weeks' duration.
The couple were married in Chicago Oct. 29, 1925, and had since lived in Edmonton. Mr. MacRae, who was 48 years old, was born in Edmonton and had lived there his entire life. He conducted a saddlery business and was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Besides his wife he survived by two sisters and one brother. Miss Mae O'Meara left Davenport last night for Edmonton to attend the funeral which will be held there probably Monday.
