Peacefully in hospital on Friday, November 21, 2003, John Mears of Metcalfe in his 46th year. Dearly loved son of Tom and Bernie (Belland) Mears. Dear brother of Lynda Martel of Metcalfe, Colleen Mears of Ottawa, Tom Mears of Lillooett, B.C., Ann Mears (Jonathan) of Metcalfe and Margaret (Fred Young) of Winchester. Uncle of Robin Martel and Ryan Mears. John's family would like to thank Dr. Gabriel Slowey of Chesterville and the Nurses and Doctors at the Dialysis Unit at Civic Campus of the Ottawa Hospital. Private Funeral Arrangements. Donations to Research at the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Canadian Kidney Foundation or to the Dialysis Unit of the Winchester and District Memorial Hospital c/o the Women's Auxiliary would be most appreciated.
