DOVER WOMAN IS CALLED BY DEATH

Word was received in this city Tuesday of the death of Mrs. Margaret McCourt, old and respected resident of the town of Dover, who passed away at her farm home near Eagle lake Tuesday morning after a short illness.

Margaret Whalen was born Feb. 11, 1853 in Long Island, N. Y. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Whalen. At an early age she came with her parents to Wisconsin, and here married James McCourt, who preceded her in death. The farm on the west shore of Eagle lake remained her home throughout her entire married life.

Mrs. McCourt is survived by seven sons, Roy, Charles, John and William of Burlington, Arthur and Frank, who reside on the home farm, and Edward, who also lives in the town of Dover, two daughters, Mrs. George Yanny, Racine, and Mrs. John Morrow, Dover, and one sister, Mrs. John Seymour, Kenosha.

Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 10 o'clock from St. Mary's Catholic church in Dover, of which Mrs. McCourt was a member. The Rev. Father Schiefen will officiate, and burial will be in the St. Mary's cemetery near the church.
