Mrs. Ruth M. Breen, 85, of Bluff Terrace Care Center, died there Sunday.

The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Pape Funeral Home with the Rev. Leslie Pritchard officiating. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.

Mrs. Breen was born June 8, 1895, in Clinton to Alvin and Mary Olson Allison. She married Charles C. Breen May 10, 1922, in Clinton. She was an executive secretary of Clinton County Soldiers Relief Commission, retiring in 1968. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Wa-tan-ye Club, American Legion Auxiliary and Circle Seven of First Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include a son, David A. of Clinton; two granddaughters; and a sister, Mrs. Dwight (Alma) Seaman of Clinton.

She was preceded in death by her husband, three brothers, two sisters and a granddaughter.
