OLD TOWN, April 7

 

Funeral services for Alfred LeDuc were held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Baillargeon Funeral Home, 109 Middle Street, with the Rev. Charles P. Biglin officiating.

Bearers were Peter Sulinski, Sr., Robert Lavoier, Norman Hasseltine and William Grounder.

Remains were entombed at Lawndale Cemetery where burial will be in the family lot later in the spring.

Mr. LeDuc, whose death occurred unexpectedly at his home on Cedar Street Saturday morning was 82 years of age. He was born at Centerville, R. I., December 4, 1875, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bruno LeDuc.

He was a member of Old Town Grange and a retired woolen mill weaver. He had resided in Old Town for about 45 years.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Marie Grounder LeDuc, and several

cousins.

Research notes for Alfred

After Celia's death in 1918, Alfred married Marie Alice Grounder (1 Nov 1895 - 28 Feb 1995). No known children from either marriage.

02 APR 2023 - Searched for 1880, 1900, and 1920 census records. 1910 may be wrong, but I'm fairly confident.
