Services for Christopher J. "Chris" Green, 34, 2702 Brunskill Road, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Raphael's Cathedral.

Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Key West, Iowa, where military rites will be accorded by Delta Co. 133 Infantry of the Iowa Army National Guards. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today at Ed Siegert-Al Didesch Colonial Funeral Home, 390 N. Grandview Ave.

Christopher was a superintendent for Conlon Construction Co.

He was born on Aug. 12, 1959, at Dubuque, son of J.P. "Lefty" and Evelyn (Salz) Green. He died at 12:30 Sunday, June 12, 1994, at The Finley Hospital as the result of a construction accident at home.

He married Barbara Miller on June 25, 1993.

He graduated from Dubuque Senior High School in 1977 and had four years of apprenticing school for carpenters. He was a member and Sgt. 1st Class in the Delta Co. 133 Infantry of the Iowa Army National Guards. He also was a member of the Dubuque Men's Association.

Surviving are his wife, Barbie, who is eight months pregnant; a son, Christopher J. Green II; his mother, Evelyn Petz, of Phoenix, Ariz.; six sisters, Mrs. Gail Higginbotham, of Phoenix, Mrs. Janie Mizrachi, Theresa Green and Mrs. Kate Whitman, all or Scotsdale, Ariz., Mrs. Toby Evans of Kansas City, Mo., and Patsi Troy, of Dubuque; three brothers Guy and Paul Green, both Of Dubuque, Joe Green, of Scottsdale; and his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Mildred Green, of Cascade, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his father, J.P. "Lefty" Green, on Dec. 18, 1993.

A Chistopher J. "Chris" Green Memorial Fund has been established.
