Jennings "Bill" Williams, 68, died Sunday at Norman Municipal Hospital after a sudden illness.

Services will be at 1:30 Wednesday at Primrose Funeral Home with graveside services at 3 p.m. in Paoli Cemetery, Paoli.

Williams was born at Purcell and moved to Norman in 1952 after retiring from the Navy. He was a graduate of Paoli High School, a veteran of World War II, a Methodist and a member of the American Legion.

Survivors include a son, Pete, Oklahoma City; a daughter, Marie Brown, Elk City; a brother, Isaac, Enid; four sisters, Mattie Lee White, San Diego, Calif.; Jo Ann Tuggle, Houston; Patsy Watkins, Purcell, and Libby Davis, Tulsa, and three grandchildren.
