Services for Frances Chase, 63, of 246 Cottage Grove Ave., will be 2 p.m. Friday at Chapel of Memories West with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Mrs. Chase died Tuesday morning at Americana Healthcare Center.
She was born March 2, 1921, at Waterloo, daughter of E. L. "Danny" and Floy Evans Griffith. She married Kenneth Chase May 2, 1962, at Galena, Ill., and he died Jan. 27, 1973.
Survivors include a son, Craig A. Weltzin of Chicago; two daughters, Celeste F. Weltzin and Mrs. Patricia R. Handy, both of Waterloo; four grandchildren; her father of 246 Cottage Grove Ave.; a brother, LeRoy Griffith of Tulsa, Okla.; and five sisters, Mrs. Beatrice Fuller of Barstow, Calif., Mrs. Bevery Gabbard, 3731 Hazlewood Lane, Mrs. Shirley Cuvelier, 2303 Coventry Lane, Cedar Falls, Mrs. Barbara Kral, 1120 Mulberry St., and Mrs. Vivian Johnson, 1527 Patton Ave.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, and from 9 a.m. to service time Friday.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
