FAIRBANK
Abbie Hannah Durham, 74, was born Dec. 11, 1886, in Fairbank Township, Buchanan county, the daughter of Frank and Jane Adderman.
She attended the Triumph country school and graduated from the Independence high school. She taught several years in the rural schools.
She married Frank Durham, Nov. 18 1914, at Independence. They lived a few years at Littleton, before moving to Fairbank, where she spent the remainder of her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Bessie and Emma and her twin sister, Alice, Mrs. William Seamans.
She was a member of the Fairbank Methodist church and a charter member of the W. S. C. S.
She was a past matron of the Eastern Star and a member of the Fairbank Tourist club.
She died Feb. 21 at Mesa, Arizona.
Services were held at the Fairbank Methodist church with the Rev. Jack DeLong officiating. Burial was in the Fairbank cemetery.
