Homer C. Friedman, 70, died at 12:15 a.m. today at his home, 610 Climer St., of a sudden heart attack.
Funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mathias church with Rev. Vincent Walsh officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park cemetery.
Visitation will be conducted at the Ralph J. Wittich Funeral Home Friday between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m.
He was born Dec. 29, 1900, at Independence, Iowa, the son of Christian J. and Alvena Aderman Friedman and had been a Muscatine resident 20 years.
He married Henrietta Daut, May 29, 1934, at Muscatine. He was a member of St. Mathias church. Mr. Friedman was a graduate of Illinois Technical college, and a retired supervisory engineer of John Deere Co.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Henrietta Friedman, at home, two daughters, Mrs. Carol Robinson, Joy, Ill., and Mrs. Susan Isaacs, Rock Island; and three grandchildren.
His parents preceded him in death.
