Elizabeth C. "Eliz" Daly, 93, of Rochester, died Friday (Oct. 14, 1994) at Rochester Health Care Center where she had lived only six weeks.
The former Elizabeth C. Manahan was born Sept. 26, 1901 in Chatfield. She married Paul W. Daly on July 21, 1930, in Rochester. He was in the petroleum business and investment sales. A homemaker, Mrs. Daly was a charter member of St. Francis Catholic Church and also belonged to St. Catherine's
Rosary Group there. A St. Francis Church member for 50 years, she recently became a member of St. John's Catholic Church. Mrs. Daly also was an original resident of Park Towers, moving there when it opened in 1974.
She is survived by two sons, Roger and Richard of Rochester; a daughter, Betty (Mrs. David) Kalal of Apple Valley, Minn.; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Her husband preceded her in death in June of 1974.
A Mass of Christian burial will be offered at 10 a.m. Monday at St. John's Catholic Church, with the Rev. James McCauley officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday at Macken Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 6 p.m.
The family prefers memorials to the Lourdes Development Fund.
