Age 70. Passed away Monday, April 11, 1977, at Burlington Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Busch was born in Woodside, Aberdine, Scotland on January 30, 1907 to George and Mary (Barron) Grant. She spent her early life in Scotland and came to the United States at an early age. She was educated at Montello, Wis. On June 18, 1928 at Montello, Wis., she was united in marriage to Edward W. Busch who preceded her in death on January 27, 1971. Following their marriage they lived in Milwaukee, moving to Burlington in 1938. Mrs. Busch was a Housewife and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Fred (Mary) Poritz of Burlington; one brother-in-law, Elmer Busch or Burlington; and one nephew, Russell Poritz of Burlington. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday evening, April 14, at St. Mary's Church in Burlington. The Rev. R. Dolezal will officiate. Interment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday evening from 4 until 5:30 p.m. at the McCARTHY-KOENIG FUNERAL HOME, 101 E. State St., Burlington. The Rosary will be recited at 5:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the Funeral Home. Memorials to the Burlington Rescue Squad have been suggested.
