Age 75. Passed away unexpectedly Nov. 23, 1966 in Burlington, Wis. Mr. Robers was born in Wheatland Township on April 29, 1891, the son of John and Christine Schmidtcamp Robers. His life was spent in Wheatland Township and he was educated in New Munster Parochial School. On Jan. 27, 1914 in St. Mary's Church in Burlington, he was married to the former Regina Richter. Mr. Robers was a retired farmer. He was a member of St. Alphonsus Church. Holy Name Society, Usher Society, and had served on the Randall Town Board. Surviving are his wife, Regina; three sons, Robert, Edmund, Route 5, Burlington, Richard, Route 3, Burlington; two daughters, Mrs. Carl (Margaret) Grulick, Route 5, Burlington, and Mrs. Ed (Bernice) Elderbrook, Route 3, Burlington; 16 grandchildren; three brothers, Albert, Ollie, and Louis, all of Burlington; one sister, Mrs. Ben (Frances) Busch, Spring Grove, Ill. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Nov, 26, 1966, at 10 a.m. in St. Alphonsus Church, New Munster, Wis., with interment in the church cemetery. Friends may call after 3 p.m. today (Friday) at the McCARTHY-RUETER FUNERAL HOME, 481 Milwaukee Ave., Burlington. The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. this evening in the funeral home.
